The Admission criteria for RGH Inc varies based on they type of services requested. Rouses admission’s team accepts referrals from Individuals, Legally Responsible Persons, MCOs and other Service Providers. Upon admission to Rouses Group Home ICF/IDD services, assessments are completed by various health care disciplines to identify the needs and services that best meets the individual’s person centered plan. These individualized programs are done with the collaboration of the individual, their family or legally responsible person and their interdisciplinary team comprised of Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Habilitation Specialists, Social Workers, Dieticians, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Recreational Therapists, Qualified Developmental Disability Professionals (QP), and other disciplines as needed.
Each individuals programming includes a daily regimen of activities which incorporate academics, vocational, domestic, and self-help skills. In addition, residents participate in leisure activities that include aerobics, dance, nature walks, talent shows, and community involvement. All experiences at Rouses Group Homes are designed to allow teachable moments that encompass the necessary skills for greater independence.
